Bow Lake
Bow Lake is one of the most beautiful glacier-fed lakes along the world-famous Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park. Surrounded by towering mountain peaks, hanging glaciers, and dramatic alpine scenery, the lake is known for its crystal-clear turquoise water created by glacial melt from the Bow Glacier. Located at an elevation of over 1,900 meters, Bow Lake offers breathtaking panoramic views and incredible photo opportunities throughout the year. Crowfoot Glacier
Crowfoot Glacier Viewpoint is a spectacular roadside stop located along the Icefields Parkway near Bow Lake in Banff National Park. The viewpoint offers incredible views of the famous Crowfoot Glacier, which hangs dramatically on the side of Crowfoot Mountain. The glacier was originally named for its unique three-toed shape resembling a crow’s foot, although one “toe” has gradually melted over time due to natural glacial retreat.

Parker Ridge Trail
Parker Ridge Trail is one of the most rewarding short hikes along the Icefields Parkway, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Saskatchewan Glacier and surrounding Rocky Mountain peaks. Located near the Columbia Icefield in Banff National Park, the trail is known for its stunning alpine scenery and relatively moderate difficulty, making it popular among hikers of all experience levels. The hike is approximately 5 km round trip with an elevation gain of about 250 meters, usually taking 2 to 3 hours to complete depending on pace and trail conditions.
