The Grey Glacier Ice Trekking tour begins at Grey Base Camp, in the Grey Beach sector of Torres del Paine National Park. After assembling, you’ll board a zodiac boat for a 20-minute ride to the glacier.
Once there, you’ll disembark near the glacier wall and hike for about one hour across the moraine to reach the ice. Your guide will provide a safety briefing, and then you’ll begin a two-and-a-half-hour hike on the glacier, exploring crevasses, rivers, lagoons, tunnels, and ice caves.
At the end of the trek, you’ll return to the beach and board the zodiac for the return to Grey Base Camp, where snacks and hot drinks await.
