Most Mallorcan mountaineers consider the Torrent de Paréis to be the most extraordinary excursion on the island, due to its 300-metre-high cliffs, its steep nature and some difficult passes. Due to its biological and geological uniqueness, the Torrent de Paréis has been declared a Natural Monument.
