We begin our workshop in the heart of Venice Piazza San Marco, bathed in the soft, golden light of the early morning. At this hour, the square is at its most magical quiet, atmospheric, and free from the crowds that fill it later in the day.
Here, we will:
• Capture the first light – Learn how to work with the golden hues and long shadows to create striking images.
• Focus on composition – Using the grand architecture of St. Mark’s Basilica and the elegant arcades to frame your shots.
• Experiment with reflections The early morning often brings beautiful water reflections on the piazza’s stone surface.
• Refine camera settings Adjust exposure for the changing light conditions and optimize for depth and detail.
