Kualoa Ranch
Koʻolau Range is one of the two mountain ranges that form the island of Oahu. It spans 34 miles, and the summits average about 2,500 feet. The Koolau Range, as you see it today, is all that remains of a massive volcano that began erupting on the ocean floor, around 2 and a half million years ago. It was designated a National Natural Landmark in 1972.

Mokoliʻi
Mokoli’i is one of Oahu’s small offshore islands. It is about half a mile from the mainland and is accessible by water (kayak/canoe or swimming) or at low tide by walking. The hike to the top may be challenging as it is steep and rocky (bring appropriate shoes); from the top there are lovely views.

Haleiwa Town Center
More than the laid-back surf town Haleiwa seems, this town is filled with local style and country ambiance, as well as cool surf shops, boutiques, charming art galleries and restaurants housed in plantation-era buildings. Rich with island history, Haleiwa is now the social and artistic hub of the North Shore. You’ll find locals and visitors winding down with shaved ice cream or shopping at boutiques filled with unique gifts that will allow you to bring back a piece of Hawaii with you. Haleiwa is a far cry from the excitement of Waikiki, and that’s exactly how the people of the North Shore like it.
