Itinerary
1
Duờng Tau
In the midst of the chaotic streets of Hanoi, 2.5 km from the old quarter, there is a truly one-of-a-kind railroad. Low speed North-South train come barreling through the residential area known as “Train Street’.
We shall have a very informative session in 2.5 hours that include:
1. A short visit to the Hatred Monument
2. A very interesting story on history and culture of Vietnam, from 1,000 years of Chinese colony to French colony period and then US new-colony style, at the train street.
3. Do we hate the Americans/French/Chinese, after all the war time that Vietnamese have been through?
4. What makes the lifestyles of north - south of Vietnam different?
5. What are interesting stories about Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam's great great leader?
6. My current perspective of Vietnam
At the same time, let's experience the train passing during our session, bring your camera along, even you can put it right in the middle of the track. This will be a very exciting experience.
