Afterward, you’ll head to Qorikancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun. During the one-hour visit, you’ll discover the rich Andean symbolism behind this sacred site, its connection to the stars, and its vital role in the Inca calendar.

The impressive Sacsayhuamán complex, renowned for its massive megalithic stones, some weighing more than 150 tons. During the Inca Empire, this site was regarded as the Temple of Lightning, dedicated to the god Illapa.

Afterward, we’ll continue to Q'enqo, an ancient ceremonial site devoted to Pachamama (Mother Earth), where you can admire its detailed and symbolic stone carvings.

Later, we’ll reach the remarkable Inca fortress of Puka Pukara, whose name means “Red Fortress” in Quechua, inspired by the reddish tones of the stones that form its walls and structures.

Tambomachay
At the end of the tour, we will visit Tambomachay, where you’ll explore the sacred temple devoted to the worship of water, believed to have also functioned as a ceremonial purification bath for Inca rulers.
