This gigantic market is vibrant! Explore its three floors bursting with sights, sounds, and enticing aromas. Be prepared for a sensory overload of colorful crafts, fresh produce, and delicious food stalls, a fully-immersive experience of engagement with Guadalajara's local community.
Since this is a private tour -just for you and your companions- we can go at our own pace. There’s an endless variety of souvenirs and handicrafts, and we can take as much time as you need to find the perfect items.
As part of the culinary experience we will try:
1. Tortas ahogadas: a tomato salsa-drowned pork carnitas sandwich.
2. Tacos de barbacoa: slow-cooked marinated beef, served in grilled tacos.
3. Tejuino: a cold beverage made from fermented corn.
4. Artisanal candies and/or seasonal fruits.

This experience will immerse you in the city's rich history and vibrant culture. As we stroll, I’ll share insightful context that will deepen your understanding of Guadalajara’s rich history, its evolving present, and the challenges shaping its future.

This plaza connects nine streets and is home to the city's oldest restaurants. The house specialty at Nueve Esquinas is birria, a juicy and delicious hearty meat stew, served with hand-made tortillas, cilantro, onions, lemon and salsa.
