Itinerary
Guests will meet at the shop in Kremmling, Co. There, they will meet their guides, receive a safety orientation, and get geared up. It is a short drive to the river, where guests will put on upstream of Gore Canyon. The first 4 miles of the run are a very calm float in. Prior to entering Gore Canyon, paddlers will have a swim test in which they must perform favorable to continue downstream. Once in the canyon, paddlers will navigate 6 miles of the most adventurous class IV-V rapids in Colorado. Upon exiting the canyon, guests will take out at Pumphouse Recreation Area where lunch will be served. After that, it is about a 25-minute drive back to the Downstream Adventures shop to end the trip.
