Ghorepani
Ghorepani is a charming mountain village nestled at an altitude of approximately 2,860 meters (9,383 feet) in the Annapurna Conservation Area of Nepal. Surrounded by lush forests of rhododendron, oak, and pine, Ghorepani offers a tranquil escape from the busy world below. One of the biggest attractions of Ghorepani is its proximity to Poon Hill, a world-famous viewpoint just a short hike (about 45 to 60 minutes) from the village.

Tikhedhunga
Tikhedhunga is a small hamlet at about 1,540 m on the Ghorepani‑Poon Hill trekking route, reached after a gentle drive from Nayapul via lush terraced rice fields and bamboo groves. Set beside the Bhurungdi Khola, it features a photogenic waterfall and long suspension bridges, with basic teahouses. The village’s tranquil river soundscape, surrounding Magar farmland, and clear views of lower Annapurna ridges offer trekkers a refreshing cultural and scenic pause.
