Are you ready to turn your hobbies into a business?
After pickup at around 4pm (actual time depends on sunset), you'll be headed to the banks of River Ganges in Rishikesh to witness the age old Hindu ceremony known as “Aarti”.
Aarti is performed at the finish of any religious ceremony or puja, or simply by itself every morning and evening as a spiritual celebration. Be enchanted by the bhajans (religious songs) performed by saffron-robed gurus and disciples, smell the aroma of incense and camphor as it saturates the air, see the mesmerizing light of various diyas (oil lamps) and the setting sun reflected on the streaming water. Hear the serene sound of the surging waterway and watch the participants sway in unison as all components i.e. fire, water, Earth and air collaborate to create this spectacle .
After the completion of the ritual, proceed to a neighborhood eatery for a delectable, locally inspired vegetarian dinner. After dinner, you'll be dropped to your hotel/local accomodation in Rishikesh.
