It is just potatoes, flour, egg and salt, a little kneading, some shaping, and suddenly you are the kind of person who makes pasta from scratch on a Tuesday. Chef Sam will get you there. In this laid-back, laugh-filled cooking class, you will make pillowy homemade gnocchi and toss it in a brown butter sage sauce with garlic, black pepper and Parmesan that will make you question every pasta dinner you have ever had before this moment. Chef Sam will walk you through making pillowy, golden, melt-in-your-mouth gnocchi from scratch, paired with a brown butter sage sauce so good it should probably be illegal. You will mix, knead and shape your own dough, learn the secrets behind a truly nutty brown butter, and finish everything off with fresh sage, garlic and a shower of Parmesan.
