Upon departing your hotel we will head west towards Stonehenge, an UNESCO World Heritage site. The stone circle has been on this site for over 4, 500 years and is one of the wonders of the world and the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe.
Once we depart Stonehenge we will return to the lovely town of Windsor. Windsor Castle has been home to royalty for more than 900 years. It is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. It really is a fascinating place and there is always something new to discover!
Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has since been the home of 39 monarchs. Today The Queen spends most of her private weekends at the Castle.
