Manial Palace Museum
The Palace of Prince Muhammad Ali is considered a masterpiece of Art. Inspired by the Moroccan and Islamic architectural design, Established in 1901 with an estimated area of 61,711 square meters, the Palace is surrounded by walls that are reminiscent of a medieval fortress. The Palace consists of five separate, uniquely styled buildings that reflect the wealth and lifestyle of the Prince in the late 19th Century.

el Azahar Park which was an area covered with mounts of rubbish amassed during 500 years and when Aga khan IV visited Egypt in 1984, He decided to intervene and offer the city of his ancestors the much-needed gift of an oasis in this urban desert and he started the project of transforming these mounts of rubbish to a beautiful park. It is located on a hilly site surrounded by the most significant historic districts of Islamic Cairo.
