1000 Lingas
The Valley of a 1000 Lingas" or "The River of a Thousand Lingas". The motifs for stone carvings are mainly myriads of lingams (phallic symbol of Hindu god Shiva), depicted as neatly arranged bumps that cover the surface of a sandstone bed rock, and lingam-yoni designs are underneath crystal-clear water riverbed (depending on the season or weather). It's as if the river itself is whispering ancient tales of spirituality and magic.
The River of a Thousand Lingas is not just a feast for the eyes; it's a spiritual journey that seamlessly blends natural beauty with artistic mastery. Take a moment to appreciate the intricate carvings, each telling a story of devotion and reverence. As sunlight dances upon the water's surface, the carvings come alive, casting ethereal reflections and making this sacred sanctuary a photographer's paradise.
