Jbel Lakraa is the highest mountain in Talassemtane national park (2159m). On this full day excursion we will take you to discover its amazing landscape and unique biodiversity. We will pick you up from your hotel and A 4WD vehicle will take you through villages, green pastures and the forests of the region. You will reach Plaza de Espana. This park was created in October 2004 to conserve the last of Morocco’s threatened fir forests
The park also contains other endemic plant species to the Spanish/Maghrebi biodiversity hotspot such as the endangered Atlas cedar and Andalusian Belladonna Atropa baetica.The Bearded vulture and over 100 other birds have been observed at the park
Talassemtane is part of the Transcontinental Biosphere Reserve of the Mediterranean.
