After a quick briefing we leave, by E Bike, from the headquarters of Bicicletteria Urbana. We will make a visit to the historic center of the City of Art of Conversano with its wonderful monuments: the castle, the cathedral, the characteristic alleys, the wonderful cloisters. We will then continue for a pleasant cycle walk through the local countryside dotted with dry stone walls immersed in the local vegetation, with cherry trees, olive trees and Mediterranean scrub. We will visit the historic center of Conversano, mainly along the Castle and the cathedral, continuing to the church of Saints Cosmas and Damian and the monastery of San Benedetto

The castle of Conversano is a trapezoidal structure of Norman origin, but later modified and remodelled, especially in the fifteenth and seventeenth centuries, so as to transform it from the original fortress which it was into a sumptuous stately home.
