Cliffs of Moher
After admiring the charm of the castle we will be heading to the Cliffs of Moher ( 1h drive) one of the most famous and beautiful natural attractions in Ireland. They are located on the west coast of County Clare, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Here are some reasons why you should visit them:
They offer stunning views of the sea, the sky, and the surrounding landscape. You can see the Aran Islands, Galway Bay, and the Twelve Bens mountains on a clear day. They are home to a rich biodiversity of plants and animals. You can spot various seabirds, such as puffins, guillemots, and fulmars, nesting on the cliffs or flying over the water. You can also see dolphins, whales, seals, and sharks in the ocean below.
They have a fascinating history and culture. You can learn more about the local heritage and folklore at the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience, which is an eco-friendly center that blends into the landscape. After visiting the cliffs we will drive back to Killarney ( 3 hours)
