River Shannon
Cycle along the shore of the River Shannon

St. Flannan's Cathedral
Visit the 14th Century cathedral. The Cathedral is usually open to visitors and if so you can wander around inside. If not, you will have the chance to admire the medieval building from the outside.

Templekelly Graveyard
Templekelly is a ruined church from the 12th century, where you can view ancient gravestones, including medieval stones warning that life is short, so you'd best behave!

Beal Boru
Brian Boru was a legendary high King of Ireland in the 10th and 11th centuries, who was born in Killaloe. We will visit his home fort, which is a short walk from the road.

We will visit the southern end of Lough Derg, at Two Mile Gate, seeing stunning views. This are is a favourite for water sports and swimming.
