Your 1-day trek begins with an early morning drive from Moshi to the Londorossi Gate, the starting point of the Lemosho Route. After registration and a briefing from your guide, you’ll be driven further to the trailhead. The Lemosho Route is known for its stunning scenery and remote paths, and today’s trek will take you through the beautiful rainforest zone. As you hike, you’ll be surrounded by towering trees, vibrant ferns, and the sounds of wildlife such as monkeys and exotic birds.
The hike ascends gradually, allowing you to take in the beauty of the environment while experiencing Kilimanjaro’s lower slopes. The trail may be muddy and slippery, so good trekking shoes are essential. After a few hours of walking, you’ll reach your designated stopping point for a lunch break amidst the serene surroundings. The Lemosho Route offers excellent opportunities for spotting wildlife and experiencing the tranquility of Kilimanjaro's natural beauty.
