About
⚠️ Important Seasonal Update Due to critically low water levels in the traditional Miccosukee airboat areas north of Tamiami Trail, all airboat operators in this area have temporarily suspended their marsh operations, with one operator currently offering limited canal rides only. Starting March 10, 2026, the tour will operate at an authorized airboat facility located inside Everglades National Park. The experience includes a 40–45 minute shared airboat ride on a large open airboat, an alligator presentation, nature trail access, and free time to visit the gift shop and snack area. All Everglades National Park entrance fees are included.

Miami
After pickup from your hotel and a few additional stops, you’ll begin the scenic one-hour drive west toward the Everglades. During the journey, your certified driver-guide will provide live commentary in the language of your choice, sharing stories about Miami, its history, and the unique ecosystem you are about to visit. This comfortable ride in a licensed Mercedes Sprinter or Suburban, with Wi-Fi and bottled water on board, sets the stage for your Everglades adventure.

Everglades
Upon arrival inside the Indian reservation, you’ll be welcomed to a Miccosukee family–run airboat base, far from the crowded tourist parks. Here begins the highlight of your adventure: in most cases, your group will enjoy a private one-hour airboat ride.
You’ll board a small, open-air airboat with elevated seats designed for panoramic views. Guided by your captain, you’ll glide across miles of pristine wetlands, passing sawgrass prairies, cypress forests, and mangrove corridors. Along the way, keep an eye out for alligators, turtles, and colorful birdlife.
The experience also includes stops at two private islands (hammocks). The first is home to rescued alligators and turtles cared for by the community. The second is especially meaningful: once the village where the Miccosukee family lived until 1962, it now serves as an educational site. Here you may spot the legendary “Papa Alligator” or “Mama Alligator,” and you’ll have a chance to walk along a short boardwalk.
