Merzouga
We’ll leave Fez in the morning and make our way through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way we stop in Ifrane (the “Little Switzerland” of Morocco) and the cedar forests near Azrou, where you might spot wild monkeys. After a scenic drive past valleys and palm groves, we reach Merzouga in the late afternoon. Tonight you’ll stay in a traditional desert hotel right at the edge of the dunes.
