About
Experience the intense flavors of fresh hibiscus along with our flowers in syrup, preserves and tea, while you’re guided through our estate greenhouse and outdoor exploration garden. Everyone is familiar with the showy hibiscus flower, but we mainly grow the edible kind called Hibiscus Roselle. Roselle is a tropical plant historically used for medicinal purposes and still has many health benefits today. Actively enjoy both our indoor hydroponic farm and outdoor garden we use for multiple edible varieties. Savor the taste of each of our specialty products grown, harvested and produced right here on the farm. Immerse yourself in a behind the scenes tour of our farm with a 45-minute light walki...

This tour is set in the beautiful countryside of the Hamakua Coast, just outside of Honokaa, on the north part of the Big Island of Hawaii. Take a tour with the owner and learn fascinating insights about hibiscus cultivation and hydroponic farming. During the tour, see several different types of hibiscus plants and learn the difference between ornamental hibiscus and culinary hibiscus. Enjoy several samples of hibiscus products made on-site. This tour is capped at 12 travelers.
We discuss the history of agriculture of Hawaii, the difference between ornamental hibiscus and culinary hibiscus, and the production of our hibiscus products. We visit the outside demonstration garden to look at the different plant varieties and flowers. The tour continues with a visit to our hydroponic greenhouse production area. We conclude with a guided tasting of our hibiscus flowers, preserves and teas. You may purchase our products at the farm. Please plan for a 1.5 hour experience altogether.
