Place de l'amazone
Discover one of the most imposing monuments in Africa. Visiting this emblematic square of Benin will give the pretext to discuss the glorious history of Danhomê (now Benin) and the Amazons, the first all-female army corps.
The visit of this high place will continue with a visit to an exceptional artistic work, the longest frescoed wall in Africa. It gives pride of place to the history of Benin and Africa and is found in many clips by renowned artists. This magnificent wall has been the site of expression for internationally renowned artists.

Fidjrosse Beach
Walk along the beach in the Fiji district. This walk will allow you to soak your feet in the Atlantic Ocean. It is an opportunity to frolic in the fine and warm sand of the seaside of Cotonou. This activity will make you thirsty. It will be time to enjoy the Beninese coconut and your thirst will be quenched by a refreshing coconut juice. It's the entry point to go and eat!

This square, renamed Place des souvenirs, is a crossroads that offers views of the Presidency, the ORTB, the ancestor of the SRTB, the NNHU Hubert Maga. This place marks forever a historical event of Benin whose date is January 16, 1977. The Guide will take the time to tell you about the Marxist-Leninist adventure of Benin that led to this episode in the history of the People's Republic of Benin at the time!

For a very long time, the place of military parades on the occasion of the independence of Benin, the Place de l'Etoile Rouge was the meeting place of Beninese youth. It offers a setting for the daily sport of cotton. It is also home to a part of the history of the People's Republic of Benin. The Guide will introduce you to the anecdote of Jacob, the peasant man who sits at the top of the monument that adorns this Red Star Square!
