Le Kef
Direction el Kef, where you can explore the old town perched on a cliff, offering panoramic views of the valley. This historic area is home to a variety of monuments from different eras and religions, including cisterns and Roman baths, an ancient church dedicated to St. Peter, an 18th-century Jewish synagogue beloved by Muslims, and three adjacent cemeteries for Muslims, Jews and Christians. The most emblematic site of the city is the mausoleum of Sidi Bou Makhlouf, famous for its white domes and octagonal minaret decorated with emerald green ceramics.
