Today, the site is filled with large craters and broken bunkers that remain just as they were left. After lunch, you’ll visit the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer. This is the final resting place for over 9,000 U.S. soldiers. You’ll see rows of white crosses and Stars of David stretching out over the green hills above the beach. A visit to the Memorial Chapel provides a quiet space for reflection and gratitude. Your guide will be nearby to answer questions or share stories that help you understand what makes this place so special.
