Enjoy a short motor boat ride to Philae Temple Island, the most ancient structure in the Island was the temple of the Goddess Isis, ordered by the native Pharaoh Nectanebo I (380-362 BC), Nectanebo was a great builder and restore. For the other Temples, Chapels and ruins date from the Ptolemaic times, more especially with the reigns of Ptolemy Philadelphus, Ptolemy Epiphanes, and Ptolemy Philometor (282-145 BC), with many traces of Roman work most notable in the Kiosk of Emperor Trajan (98-117 ad), enjoy free time at leisure.
