The wine tradition is rooted in this territory that produces the most noble wines made from traditional and high quality grape varieties. The Bairrada region holds the title with the best sparkling wine in the 2019 Portugal wine contest. On this bike tour we invite guests to cycle through the vineyards of Rota da Bairrada, an area known as the Portuguese capital of sparkling wines. After pickup of participants in Coimbra, by car with bikes, we head to Curia, where we will visit the headquarters of Rota da Bairrada.
