Assiut International Airport
A guide will take you from your hotel in in Assiut or train station to start your Coptic tour by visiting The Hanging Monastery, The Monastery of Saint mina
The Monastery of Saint Mina the Wonderful, one of the most important Christian monasteries, and Egyptian Coptic monuments
The monastery dates back to the 4th century AD
It is common that the martyr Mina came to this cave and stayed there for a period of time, in a period of unification in the wilderness
The monastery is known for its “hanging monastery”, as it hangs in the lap of the mountain while inside a cave under a large rock in the middle of the mountain
On the third floor there is an exhibition of antiquities belonging to the monastery, including archaeological icons, wooden doors and church tools
The next stop will be in The monastery of Anba Hermina ”The Anchorite”
It is the only monastery in the world in the name of Anba Hermina
The monastery has a special character both architecturally and spiritually
The monastery is located in a secluded area in the desert and in the nearby mountains, traces of Pharaonic caves and tombs inhabited by Copts

Complete your adventure going to Monastery of Abba Sarabamoun in Dayrout
Its importance is due to the place where the Holy Family stayed during its journey, under the tree bearing the name of the Virgin Mary, which still exists today
This tree dates back to 2013 years
Where the Holy Family remained under it and was blessed by the Blessed Virgin Mother of Light
So it is still growing so far …. and all its branches downward towards the ground … so named after this name
The last stop will be in St. Mark’s Church
It is the old bishopric church
It is also called the Church of the spiritual apparitions, where it appeared the spectrum of the Virgin Mary and manifestations of illuminations and spiritual phenomena wonderful and swarms of Nurani bath around the church beacons in 2000
At the end of the tour,you will be transferred back to your hotel or the train station
