7- or 8- speed cruiser or hybrid bicycle (child-sized bikes available for younger participants). We will assign the best bike for your height and riding style when you arrive for the tour.

Meet at our shop in Kennebunk's Lower Village. We are located at 8 Western Ave., in the Federal Jack's plaza. Paid parking is available. Please pay for parking at the kiosk. If the lot is full, you may park for free at 30 North St., Kennebunkport, a .6-mile walk from the shop.

There are hills along this route. Participants may dismount and push their bikes if necessary. The tour moves at the speed of the slowest cyclist.

Participants must be able to ride a bicycle of any kind comfortably, sharing the road with vehicular traffic, for two or more hours with frequent breaks.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Dock Square
We'll pass through the bustling touristic hub of Dock Square, Kennebunkport, before breaking free of the congestion and heading out on your coastal exploration. Feel free to ask your guide for dining and shopping recommendations!

Kennebunkport Village Green
We'll cycle through the Kennebunkport Historic District where sea captains and captains of industry once built their stately mansions. We'll pause to learn about one of the homes and stroll through a lush flower garden dedicated to one of America's favorite first ladies.

Ocean Avenue
A breathtaking coastal route featuring rocky crags, crashing waves, sandy beach views, and splendid summer homes. It's the Maine coast encapsulated.

St. Ann’s Episcopal Church
An iconic historic church, featuring stunning stone architecture, beautiful stained glass windows, and amazing ocean views. While we watch the sailboats go by, we'll talk about the history of the location and then take a peak inside.

Walker's Point
The one-time "summer White House." We'll stop to take pictures and learn about the lives of Kennebunkport's most famous summer residents.

Cape Porpoise
The tour will continue through the charming fishing village of Cape Porpoise, where European settlers first arrived in this area and where fishermen and lobstermen continue to ply their trades today.

Cape Porpoise Pier
A working fishing/lobster pier featuring incredible harbor views. From here we can see the Goat Island Lighthouse, which dates back to the 19th century. You'll learn about the lighthouse's history and take pictures of the beautiful ring of islands surrounding the harbor.
