Ambuluwawa is a biodiversity complex and Sri Lanka's first multi-religious sanctuary situated in the central highlands of the country. Distance from Kandy is 25.2 km. Ambuluwawa, located at an height of 3567 feet, on the top of peak that rises just four kilometers as of Gampola.
It is an easy and safe climb with spectacular views all the way to the sea on a clear day, The foot of the tower holds a park area with a temple/ church dedicated to each major religion of Sri Lanka . Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism and Christianity.
