Located in the north of the country, Chobe is Botswana's third largest park, has its main geographical features of lush flood plains and dense woodland of mahogany, teak and other hardwoods now largely reduced by heavy elephant pressure. The Chobe River which flows along the Northeast border of the park, is a major watering spot, especially in the dry season (May through October) for large breeding herds of elephants, as well as families of giraffe, sable and cape buffalo. You will be picked up at your hotel between 0800hrs to 0830hrs and transferred to the the gate of the Chobe National Park. The guide will take you through various pats of the paths. Several wild animals can be spotted there with lions, elephants and buffaloes popular sightings. After 3 hours you will exit the park for lunch of the day.
