What makes this trip different isn't just where we go — it's how we go there. This is a fully private experience: just your group in the car, no joining strangers, no fixed scripts, no rushing between stops. We move at your pace, and conversations happen naturally along the way — about Romania, about Brașov, about whatever comes up.
I'm not a tour guide reciting facts. I'm someone who grew up here and genuinely enjoys showing this part of the country to people seeing it for the first time. All entry tickets are arranged in advance, so the day runs smoothly from pickup to drop-off.

Libearty Bear Sanctuary Zarnesti
Deep in the Carpathian forest near Zărnești, we arrive at Libearty — home to over 100 rescued brown bears, recognized as one of the most ethical bear sanctuaries in the world. The bears here were saved from cages, circuses, restaurants, and years of exploitation. Today they roam freely across 69 hectares of oak forest, with pools to swim in and trees to climb.
The visit is a guided walk of roughly 2 km along a forest path, led by the sanctuary's own staff. You'll learn the individual stories of the bears, the mission behind the sanctuary, and what responsible wildlife conservation looks like in practice. This is not a zoo — there's no interaction with the animals, no feeding, and no flash photography. Just bears living as bears should.
Your entry tickets are included — I handle everything in advance so you simply show up and experience it.

Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle)
Perched on a rocky cliff above the village of Bran, this medieval fortress has stood for over 645 years — and it's the most recognized castle in Romania. Known worldwide as "Dracula's Castle" through the legend inspired by Bram Stoker's novel, it carries two fascinating and very different stories: the dark myth of Vlad the Impaler, and the elegant royal legacy of Queen Marie, who transformed it into a summer residence after 1920.
Inside, you'll wander through furnished royal chambers, hidden staircases, and atmospheric courtyards — all with the story of the place unfolding room by room.
Your entry tickets are included. I handle the booking in advance so we simply walk in and explore at our own pace.

Along the road through the Bran-Moeciu valley, we make a stop at Panner — an artisan patisserie that's become something of a local institution since opening in 2018. The building itself is worth noticing: stone, wood, and full-length glass designed to blend into the Carpathian landscape, a deliberate contrast to everything around it.
Inside, the counters are stacked with eclairs, croissants, pavlova, and French-inspired pastries made fresh on-site. It's the kind of place where locals stop on weekends and where the coffee is taken seriously. A quiet moment between two very different experiences.
We stop here either on the way to or from Bran Castle — whichever moment feels right. Food and drinks are at your own expense.
