For those who are renting bicycle's in Killarney town centre, please allow approximately 20 minutes to cycle to Ross Castle. Boat departs, Ross Castle, Reen Pier, red boats at 11am.
The boat journey from Ross Castle take's approximately 1.5 hours as the boat travels through the Lakes of Killarney. Passengers disembark at Lord Brandon's Cottage and from this point begin their journey (by walking or cycling if they have brought bikes) through the Gap of Dunloe (7miles/11km in length to Kate Kearney's Cottage). From this point passengers cycle back at their leisure to Killarney town centre (an additional 12km from Kate Kearney's Cottage).
