Bagrati Cathedral
Bagrati Cathedral, which is located inside Kutaisi, is a medieval site, which served as a church + a fortress. It has withstood attacks from the medieval times and now stands reconstructed with a new look. There is a viewpoint which looks over the whole region, accompanied by the large mountain range in the distance.

Motsameta Monastery
After Bagrati Cathedral, we'll climb to Motsameta Monastery, which is located on a mountain, surrounded by very close mountains and a river flowing below. The site is more than 1100 years old, the perfect mix of architecture and nature.

Gelati Monastery
In the end, there is Gelati Monastery, which is a monastic complex featuring 2 churches, a bell tower and a medieval scientific academy. It is also the burial site of the most popular king of Georgia - David the Builder. When we finish checking out Gelati, we'll descend back to Kutaisi. The route makes this tour perfect.
