The path is physically demanding, it is considered a high altitude walk, you walk on the 5,000 meters above sea level /16404 feet, and the camps are on the 4,400 meters above sea level /14435 feet. To start this beautiful adventure. The professional guide specialized in trekking assigned by the Matours Agency will pass by your hotel in Cusco at 7:00 a.m., then travel in a private van to Pajchanta community. Before your first lunch and hiking, relax in the thermal medicinal waters.
In the afternoon, start 2 and a half hour hike to the Qomerqocha Lagoon. Lagoon located between huge snow-clad mountains, also place where you will have enough time to take excellent photographs, and you will spend your first night of camping.
