Palermo
There are those who recognize it among its markets, early in the morning, when the air is fresh and the scents are enhanced, or those who are convinced that they can perceive it in the dark, in the shaded courtyards of its buildings. Those who breathe it in the cobbled streets of the center, immersed in the suffocating silence of midday, and those who feel they can touch it together with the marble friezes of its baroque churches. Someone looks for it from above, at sunset, walking among the roofs and domes. But the soul of Palermo remains everywhere and nowhere, like the essence of that Mediterranean which seems to find its adopted capital here: a city-laboratory of ideas and cultural thrusts where one arrives to intuit the future face of a truly multi-ethnic society. Always a mosaic of civilizations (Roman, Byzantine, Arab, Norman, Swabian and Spanish among many), today Palermo is not only past and tradition but also young and inclusive initiatives, enthusiasm, comparison and experimentation.

Aeolian Islands
Lipari is the "capital", the largest island, offices, hydrofoils, traffic, but also unspoiled views, bays, stacks.
It is the whitest beach, that of pumice, which touches the turquoise, opalescent water. The ancient flows cover an entire side of the island, the training ground for some daredevils who run down and plunge directly into the sea. All around, the suggestion of the disused quarries and the old piers. Among the competitors Praia di Vinci, Acquacalda overlooking Salina, Canneto. But also White Beaches, which can be reached by sea or with a steep staircase decorated with majolica, White beach famous for its bathing establishment and nightlife until dawn. On the south-west coast, the beaches of Valle Muria and the beach of Vinci overlook the stacks and Vulcano and Vulcanello, enclosed by steep cliffs to which you descend along inaccessible paths. Punta Castagna is an unmissable spot for snorkeling and diving.
