Experience Pearl Harbor with a Veteran and Historian
With over 8 years of professional tour guiding experience, I’ve launched my own venture rooted in a lifelong connection to Pearl Harbor. I grew up on its shores with my father in the Navy, later serving myself in the 1990s. Both my grandparents witnessed the attack—my grandfather from the base itself. I hold a History degree from the University of Hawaii and have studied WWII history my entire life. Let me personally guide you through the museums and historic landmarks, sharing stories from a deeply personal and historical perspective. With exclusive access to Ford Island, we’ll skip the public shuttle and travel in the comfort of my priv...

Itinerary
1
USS Arizona Memorial
A visit to the Arizona Memorial includes access to two museums, a powerful documentary film, and a boat ride to the memorial itself, which rests above the sunken battleship USS Arizona. From the memorial, guests can view the remains of the ship lying just beneath the shallow waters of Pearl Harbor. Entombed within its hull are the remains of more than 1,000 sailors and Marines—most of whom perished during the surprise attack on December 7, 1941.
1 hour and 30 minutes
2
Battleship Missouri Memorial
The USS Missouri played a vital role in World War II, participating in key battles including Iwo Jima, Okinawa, and the final assault on mainland Japan. On September 2, 1945, she became the site of history as the formal surrender ceremony ending World War II was held on her deck in Tokyo Bay.
Beyond WWII, the Missouri also served in the Korean War and the Persian Gulf conflict. Now retired and permanently docked directly across from the USS Arizona Memorial, she stands as a symbolic “bookend of war”—marking both the beginning and the end of America’s involvement in World War II.
A marvel of naval engineering and an enduring icon of U.S. military history, the USS Missouri continues to inspire visitors as a powerful reminder of sacrifice, strength, and peace.
