The first stop is the Golden Temple, the holiest shrine in Sikhism, also known as Harmandir Sahib. As you arrive early in the morning, the golden rays of the rising sun reflect off the temple's gilded surface, creating a mesmerizing view. Participate in the morning prayers and immerse yourself in the serene atmosphere. Your guide will explain the history and significance of the temple, including its construction and its role in Sikhism. Stroll around the Amrit Sarovar (the holy tank) and observe the devotees taking a dip in its sacred waters.
