CUSCO - MOLLEPATA - SORAYPAMPA

Humantay Lake
We start the day by picking you up from your hotel at 4:30 am. We will then travel by tourist bus, passing through the towns of Izcuchaca and Limatambo and arriving in Mollepata (2,900 meters/ 9,500 feet) around 7:30 am. Here we will have our first breakfast and we will be able to leave our 6 kilos for our riders. Afterwards, we will take a 1-hour bus ride to Challacancha (3,380 meters/ 11,090 feet). From this point, we will begin our 3-hour trek, arriving at Soraypampa (3,900 meters / 12,800 feet) around 1:30 p.m. There we will eat our first lunch and set up our first camp. After lunch, we will go to the beautiful Laguna Humantay.
HUMANTAY LAGOON: After 1 hour and a half of ascent, we will arrive at the impressive Humantay Lake (4,220 meters/13,850 feet) where we can enjoy the turquoise color of the lake and the snowy Nevado Humantay. We will then make our 40-minute descent to our camp in Soraypampa.Finally, we will spend the night in our glass cabins.
