Itinerary
1
Panoramic View of the Pyramids
Panorama Stop:
“Now we will arrive at the Panorama point, which will be one of the most beautiful spots on the Giza Plateau… because it will be the only place where you will see the three pyramids together in one panoramic view. This view will let you imagine the greatness of the ancient Egyptians and how genius they were in choosing this location and building these magnificent monuments.
From the Panorama point, you will also be able to ride a camel and enjoy a short tour around the pyramids… and you will have 10 minutes for free to live the authentic pharaonic experience and take the best photos
30 minutes
2
Pyramid of Khafre
Second Stop – Inside the Pyramids:
“At this stop, you will have the option to go inside one of the pyramids if you would like. There will be two choices for you:
• The Great Pyramid of King Khufu – the largest and most famous pyramid, considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
• The Pyramid of King Menkaure – the smallest of the three main pyramids, but still full of history and mystery.
So, if you wish to enter, this will be the place where you can choose your experience
40 minutes
3
Khafre's Pyramid
Pyramid of Khafre
Khafre’s pyramid sometimes looks taller than Khufu’s, but this is because it was built on higher ground.
You can still see part of the original casing stones at the top.
The Great Sphinx stands in front of this pyramid.
King Khafre was the son of King Khufu.
4
Menkaure Pyramid
Pyramid of Menkaure
This is the smallest of the three pyramids, but very unique.
The lower part was covered with pink granite from Aswan.
This shows that ancient Egyptians cared about beauty, not just size.
King Menkaure was the grandson of King Khufu.
5
Great Sphinx of Giza
Third Stop – The Sphinx:
“Now we will go to the Great Sphinx, one of the most famous and impressive monuments on the Giza Plateau. The statue will have the body of a lion and the head of a human, symbolizing both strength and wisdom.
The Sphinx will stand in front of the Pyramid of King Khafre, as if it has been guarding it for thousands of years. Here you will also be able to take some of the most memorable photos with one of the greatest symbols of ancient Egyptian civilization
