Your journey begins with a warm welcome in Arusha, followed by a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park — a jewel nestled between the Great Rift Valley and a shimmering alkaline lake. As you enter the park, the landscape transforms into a lush forest teeming with baboons, blue monkeys, and the park’s famous elephants. But what truly sets Manyara apart is its rare population of tree-climbing lions — keep your eyes on the branches! A guided game drive along the lake’s edge and through fig-tree forests sets the tone for the adventure ahead.
