About
For travelers who want to experience or get to know a part of Peru that still maintains its traditional life and ancestral culture.
The Lares Hike is perfect to get to know the communities of the Andes who maintain their colorful traditional clothing and Quechua language; men and women whose livelihoods are dedicated to the principal activities of pastoralism (raising llamas and alpacas) and the cultivation of native products like potato, corn, and various grains which will be part of our meals throughout the progression of our hike—products which are 100% organically grown using ancestral tilling instruments and natural fertilizers.
