Day 1: Ulaanbaatar-Elsen Tasarkhai Sand Dunes
Meet your hotel/accomodations in the morning and we will drive west to beautiful Elsen Tasarkhai Sand Dunes. Transfer to a ger camp and have a lunch. Elsen tasarkhai is one of the most picturesque places of Mongolia and is part of the 80km long Mongol Els Sand Dunes. This place is wonderful combination of pretty sand dunes, majestic granite mountains, grassy green land, a clear fresh spring and tiny lake. Indeed, Here you can enjoy seeing the combination of Gobi and Khangai Natural zones. Visit to Elsen tasarkhai Sand Dunes and Erdene Khamba Temple in picturesque Khugnu Khan Mountain. Enjoy riding a two-humped camel, walking and climbing on the sand dunes.
Overnight in a traditional Mongolian Ger.

Day 2: Elsen Tasarkhai – Khustai National Park
After breakfast we will drive to Khustai National Park. The park has an area of 506sq.km and was established in 1993. The park protects the “Takhi” wild horse, also people known as Przewalski’s wild horse. The park also contains a great diversity of other rare wild animal and plants. Transfer to a ger camp and have a lunch. Visit a small museum of the Takhi wild horse and watch a documentary film about Khustai National Park. Enjoy seeing the Takhi wild horse and other wild life in the late afternoon. Overnight in a Ger camp.

Day 3: Khustai National Park – Genghis Khan’s Statue&Terelj National Park
In the morning we will drive east to Terelj National Park via UB. Genghis Khan Statue is extremely tall stainless steel statue which is located around Terelj National Park. Enjoy the view of the surrounding area from the open balcony on Genghis Khan’s horse’s head. There is also a small archaeology museum in the base of the statue as a well as decent restaurant along with ubiquitous souvenir shops. Continue driving to Terelj National Park and have a lunch at the bank of the Tuul river. Terelj is a picturesque place a high granite cliffs that have been eroded by natural forces, creating wonderful landscape of granite tors as if carved by some giant sculptor. Visit Turtle Rock formation the symbol of the national park and “Aryabal” meditation temple where you can enjoy the best view of the park. Visit a local nomadic family and learn about Mongolian’s nomadic way of the life. Here you will have an opportunity to go horseback riding on your own if you like. Drive back to UB
