Tarangire National Park
Pickup from Arusha around 7:30am depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive of about 2.5 hours. The park is renowned for its ancient baobab trees, sweeping savannahs, and the Tarangire River, which attracts large herds of elephants and other wildlife. On your game drive, you may encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, leopards, and an impressive variety of birdlife.
A picnic lunch will be served inside the park before continuing your exploration. In the afternoon, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at a comfortable mid‑range lodge - Eileen's Trees Inn or Country Lodge.
