Maasai Mara National Reserve
Depart from Nairobi: Most safaris to Maasai Mara start from Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. You'll likely leave early in the morning to make the most of your first day.
Drive to Maasai Mara: The journey from Nairobi to Maasai Mara takes around 5 to 6 hours, depending on road conditions and stops along the way.
Game drive: After arriving in Maasai Mara and settling into your accommodation, you'll head out for an afternoon game drive. Game drives are conducted in 4x4 safari vehicles, and you'll have the chance to spot a wide variety of animals, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and more.
