Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth – largest National Park and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. Within its 3230 sq km. Its set between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the south-east. Mikumi hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons, zebras, leopards crocodiles and many more just to mention a few. Mikumi National Park
You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the ferry terminal for the first ferry to Dar es Salaam. Once you arrive in Dar es Salaam, you will take the SGR train to Morogoro, which takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Upon arrival in Morogoro, your driver will take you directly to Mikumi National Park, a drive of about 2 hours. When you reach Mikumi, you will enjoy a hot lunch, and afterward begin an evening game drive until sunset.
After the game drive, you will return to the cottages for dinner and overnight at Mikumi Bandas.
