We then visit Balmoral Castle / Royal Lochnagar Distillery, before driving through the Cairngorm Mountains to Inverness. Day 3. We hunt for the Loch Ness monster before making our way to Edinburgh via Pitlochry, the Queens View and the House of Bruar.

We have a walk around this charming town and visit the famous Cathedral (this 12th Century building is Scotland’s largest and most magnificent medieval church), the Castle, the University Chapel (founded in 1450) and the very famous Old (golf) Course.

Dunnottar Castle
One of Scotland's and the world's most spectacular ruined castles, Dunnottar is an ancient medieval fortress located upon a rocky headland near Stonehaven. The surviving buildings date from the 13th to the 16th centuries but was originally fortified in the Early Middle Ages. You can enjoy this castle for free, but there is a charge to visit the interior.
