Setubal
Setubal is the capital city of this region. It is bathed by the only river in Portugal that flows from south to north, the River Sado. It was here that one of the most appreciated condiments of Ancient Greece and Rome was produced, “the Garum”. Leisure time to walk around the central shopping streets of Setubal and the seaport with its dazzling views of the peninsula of Troia.
