A game drive in Akagera National Park is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences in Rwanda. Located in the eastern part of the country, Akagera National Park offers visitors the chance to explore beautiful savannah landscapes, lakes, and rolling hills while observing a variety of animals in their natural habitat. During the game drive, tourists can see wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and many bird species. With some luck, visitors may also spot lions and rhinos, making it part of the famous Big Five. Game drives are usually conducted in the early morning or late afternoon when animals are most active.
